Pet Delivery

PET DELIVERY SERVICE

This pet delivery policy outlines the procedures, requirements, and responsibilities involved in the safe and humane transport of pets through our shipping agency. Our primary goal is to ensure the health, safety, and well-being of all animals entrusted to our care, while complying with all relevant regulations and best practices in the pet shipping industry.

Eligibility and Age Requirements

  • Only dogs, cats, and baby monkeys aged 8 weeks or older are eligible for transport, regardless of travel distance or mode of transport.

  • Certain breeds or species may be subject to restrictions or bans depending on the destination country or airline policies. Clients are responsible for verifying breed/species eligibility prior to booking.

Health and Documentation

  • Mandatory Vaccination and Vet Check:
All pets must undergo a comprehensive veterinary check and receive all required vaccinations at our agency prior to shipping. This ensures each animal is healthy and poses no risk to other pets being transported together.
For full details, please refer to our Health & Vet Check Policy.

  • A valid health certificate, issued by our in-house licensed veterinarian within 10 days of travel, is required for all shipments.

  • Required vaccinations (including rabies and any species-specific vaccines) must be up to date, and supporting documentation will be provided by our agency.

  • Some destinations may require additional documentation such as import permits, microchip registration, and rabies titre tests. Clients are responsible for ensuring all requirements are fulfilled prior to shipment.

  • Pets displaying signs of illness, injury, or distress at the time of pick-up may be refused transport at our discretion.

Booking and Scheduling

  • Pet delivery bookings must be made at least 24 hours in advance, with all relevant paperwork submitted at the time of booking.

  • For air transport, pets must be dropped off at the designated cargo facility 4–6 hours prior to scheduled departure for domestic travel, and 6 hours prior for international travel.

  • Pets are not guaranteed to be shipped on the same flight or schedule as the customer.

  • We will contact clients 24–48 hours prior to both pick-up and delivery to confirm arrangements and estimated times of arrival.

  • Due to factors beyond our control (e.g., weather, traffic, airline schedules), exact pick-up and delivery times cannot be guaranteed. We provide estimated windows and strive to keep clients informed of any changes.

Crate and Carrier Requirements

  • Mandatory Use of Specialized Shipping Crates:
As part of our commitment to animal safety and comfort, all pets must be transported in specialized delivery crates provided by our agency. These crates are designed to meet or exceed IATA Live Animals Regulations (IATA-LAR) and are tailored to the specific needs of each animal, including baby monkeys.
For full details and crate specifications, please refer to our Shipping Crate Policy.

  • The cost of the crate ranges from $695 to $1,200, covering the provision of a high-quality, reinforced, safe, and comfortable enclosure.

  • The crate must allow the pet to stand, sit upright, lie down, and turn around comfortably without touching the sides or top of the container.

  • It is recommended that pets be acclimated to their travel crate well in advance of the journey to reduce stress.

  • Crates must be clean, secure, and labeled with the pet’s name, owner’s contact information, and any special handling instructions.

Owner and Receiver Responsibilities

  • The receiver of the pet must be available at the delivery location during the agreed time window. If the receiver is unavailable or required documents are missing, the client will be responsible for any additional charges incurred and may forfeit the right to a refund.

  • Clients are advised to make alternative arrangements if they cannot be present at the time of delivery or pick-up.

Animal Welfare and Handling

  • Pets are handled by trained staff experienced in animal care and transport. The welfare of the animal is our highest priority at every stage of the journey.

  • We do not transport animals in extreme weather conditions or during periods of excessive heat or cold, in accordance with the Animal Welfare Act and airline regulations.

  • Pets remain in their crate throughout the duration of the journey and are not accessed by staff except in emergencies.

  • For air shipments, pets are loaded last and unloaded first to minimize time spent in confined spaces.

Special Considerations

  • Some airlines and countries restrict or prohibit the transport of certain breeds or species (e.g., snub-nosed dogs and cats, certain monkey species). Clients must verify breed/species restrictions with the airline and destination authorities prior to booking.

  • For international shipments, clients should research and comply with all destination country regulations, including quarantine requirements, specific vaccinations, and import permits.

Liability and Refund Policy

  • Our agency is not liable for delays or cancellations caused by factors beyond our control, such as weather, airline disruptions, or incomplete documentation.

  • If the client or receiver is not present at the scheduled time, or if documentation is incomplete, the client remains responsible for all incurred charges and may not be eligible for a refund.

  • Any additional costs resulting from changes in delivery or pick-up arrangements are the responsibility of the client.

Contact and Support

  • Our team is available to answer questions regarding pet delivery requirements, documentation, and logistics. Clients are encouraged to contact us well in advance of their planned shipment to ensure a smooth process.

  • For urgent matters or emergencies during transport, clients may contact our 24-hour support line.
